What to do after a fresh accident
- Remove any solids and blot the liquid with kitchen paper or a white cloth, pressing without rubbing.
- Don't soak the fabric: liquid can reach the filling.
- Don't use bleach or mix products: bleach can permanently discolour the fabric.
- Before applying any product, check the sofa's label and test it on a hidden spot.
Everyday pet hair
- Vacuum the sofa regularly, including the seams and the gaps between cushions.
- A washable throw on your pet's favourite spot protects the fabric between cleans.
- Brush your pet often: less loose hair at home means less hair on the sofa.
What we do during the visit
We check the label and fabric, patch-test the product on a hidden spot and vacuum thoroughly to remove hair from the surface, seams and gaps. We then pre-treat stains and, if the fabric allows, clean with injection-extraction.
What results to expect
- Hair: thorough vacuuming removes hair from the surface, seams and gaps; on some fabrics hair clings strongly and a little may remain.
- Odours: cleaning can reduce odours on the fabric surface, but we don't promise to remove them completely, especially if urine has reached the filling.
- Old urine stains: they may fade, but don't always disappear completely.
- It isn't disinfection or a sanitising treatment.
After the clean
Keep your pet off the sofa until it's dry to the touch and the room has been aired. Drying can take several hours depending on the fabric, humidity and ventilation.
Price
In Barcelona, cleaning a 2-seater sofa costs €79, a 3-seater €89 and a chaise-longue sofa €119 (VAT included). We confirm the final price before the visit based on size, fabric and condition; hair or stains that need extra treatment can change it.
